• Ultra-Compact Form Factor: The JT16 is roughly 70% smaller in volume and 47% lighter than comparable products. Its miniature size (only 55mm diameter) allows it to be embedded into small service robots, lawn mowers, or industrial equipment with an exposed window height of just 20mm.

• 360° × 40° Perception: It provides a full 360° horizontal field of view (FOV) and a 40° vertical FOV, effectively upgrading robot perception from a single 2D plane to a rich 3D environment for better obstacle avoidance.

• “Zero” Minimum Detection: The sensor features a near-zero blind spot, meaning it can detect objects in immediate proximity—critical for robots navigating tight spaces like warehouse aisles or crowded sidewalks.

• Confiabilidade em todas as condições climáticas: Equipped with proprietary waveform processing, it can filter out 99.9% of noise from rain and fog. It also features a “smart inspection” function that detects cover lens contamination (mud, ice, or dust) and alerts the system.

• IMU integrada: Includes an internal Inertial Measurement Unit to provide motion compensation and assist in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).

Expert Note: Unlike the higher-end JT128, which offers a massive “hyper-hemispherical” 187° vertical FOV, the JT16 focuses on cost-efficiency and power-saving for robots that primarily need to see what is directly in front of and around them.
