Key Features for Educators & Developers

  • Open SDK & Programming: The EDU-Pro supports a variety of skill levels. Beginners can use drag-and-drop graphical programming (Blockly-style), while advanced users can access the Python/C++ SDK to experiment with reinforcement learning and gait control.

  • Embodied AI Integration: It features onboard vision and voice recognition, allowing it to identify faces, track objects, and respond to verbal commands.

  • Dynamic Locomotion: Powered by Noetix’s self-developed domain controller, it uses imitation learning to maintain balance on uneven indoor surfaces and recover from minor disturbances.

  • Modular Maintenance: Designed for the “clumsiness” of a learning environment, the robot features modular parts that can be easily swapped if a joint is damaged during experimentation.

Primary Use Cases

  • STEM Classrooms: Teaching the physics of bipedal balance, kinematics, and basic coding.

  • AI Research: A low-cost “sim-to-real” testbed for developers to trial algorithms before deploying them on expensive platforms like the Unitree G1 or Tesla Optimus.

  • High-Tech Companionship: Use as a programmable home assistant or entertainment bot capable of learning custom routines.

Note for Buyers: While the Bumi EDU-Pro is highly capable for its price, it is not an industrial machine. It has limited payload capacity (not meant for carrying heavy objects) and is designed primarily for indoor use on flat or slightly uneven surfaces.
