Key Features
-
Intelligent Charging Management: Features an integrated communication protocol that interacts with the battery’s BMS (Battery Management System) to prevent overcharging and ensure cell longevity.
-
Global Voltage Compatibility: Supports a wide input range ($100V$–$240V$), making it usable in various regions without the need for external voltage converters.
-
Compact & Portable: Shared with the R1’s philosophy of being “ultra-lightweight,” the charger is small enough to fit into a standard backpack or the R1’s dedicated transport case.
-
Status Indicators: Built-in LED indicators provide real-time feedback on the charging state (e.g., charging, fully charged, or error).

Usage & Maintenance
To ensure the longest lifespan for your Unitree R1 battery:
-
Environment: Always charge in a cool, dry place (0°C to 40°C).
-
Originality: Only use the official Unitree charger; third-party power supplies can trigger the robot’s hardware protection or damage the sensitive PMSM joint motors.
-
Storage: If the robot is not in use for a long period, it is recommended to charge the battery to roughly 50% and use the charger’s maintenance mode if available.
