Emlid Reach M2/M+ camera hot shoe adapter

Key Function and Purpose

• Precise Time-Stamping: The adapter wires the flash sync pulse directly from the camera’s hot shoe to the Reach M2/M+. This instantaneous electrical signal allows the Reach module to record the precise moment (timestamp) when each picture is captured with exceptional accuracy.

• Enables PPK Workflow: This accurate time-stamping is necessary for the Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) workflow, which is used to achieve highly accurate geotags for your images, significantly reducing the need for numerous Ground Control Points (GCPs) in your survey area.

• Broad Camera Compatibility: Designed to work with any camera featuring a standard hot shoe connector. It has been tested for compatibility with popular brands, including Sony, Canon, and Nikon.
