Key Features & Capabilities
-
Hybrid Locomotion: The Go2-W features powered wheels integrated into its feet. This allows it to switch seamlessly between walking (to climb stairs or navigate rubble) and rolling (to travel at high speeds on flat surfaces with minimal battery drain).
-
Ultrawide 4D LiDAR: Equipped with Unitree’s self-developed hemispherical LiDAR, the robot has a $360^{\circ} \times 90^{\circ}$ ultra-wide viewing angle. It perceives its surroundings with near-zero blind spots, enabling advanced obstacle avoidance and autonomous mapping.
-
Enhanced Power & Performance:
-
Top Speed: Capable of reaching up to 5 m/s (approx. 18 km/h) in wheeled mode.
-
Peak Torque: The joints output a staggering 45 N·m, allowing for explosive movements and recovery from falls.
-
Battery Life: An upgraded 8,000 mAh battery provides extended operational windows, supported by a highly efficient thermal management system.
-
-
GPT-Enabled Intelligence: Integrated with large language model capabilities, the Go2-W can understand complex voice commands and interact with its user more naturally than previous generations.

Why the Go2-W?
The addition of the wheeled-leg system solves the primary weakness of legged robots: battery efficiency. While walking is energy-intensive, the Go2-W can “skate” across warehouse floors or paved roads, conserving energy for when it actually needs to climb over an obstacle.
Ideal For:
Industrial Inspection: Navigating power plants or factories with varied terrain.
Security & Patrol: Rapid response across large campuses.
Research & Development: A robust platform for testing AI, SLAM, and motion control algorithms.
