Multimodal Tactile Sensing: Unlike standard grippers, the Revo2 Touch features integrated 3D sensors that detect pressure, friction, force direction, and proximity. It can distinguish between object textures and hardness, enabling it to perform delicate tasks like striking a match or handling fragile glassware.

Ultra-Lightweight Design: Weighing only 383g (comparable to six eggs), it maintains a compact 16 cm length (the size of an average female hand). This makes it one of the most efficient hands in the industry regarding its grip-to-weight ratio.

Industrial-Grade Strength: Despite its light weight, it delivers a whole-hand grip force of ≥ 50N and a single-finger pinch force of ≥ 15N. It is capable of supporting a static load of up to 20kg.

High Precision & Speed: Features 11 joints and 6 degrees of freedom (DoF) with a repeat accuracy of 0.1°. It can fully open or close in less than 0.65 seconds, allowing for rapid, fluid response times.

Advanced Control Algorithms: The “Touch” model includes standard position and speed control, but adds Adaptive Tactile Control and Adaptive Impedance/Compliance Control, allowing the hand to “give” slightly when hitting an object, much like a human hand.

Why the “Touch” Version?
The Revo2 Touch is designed for Embodied AI development. While the Basic version is great for simple grasping, the Touch version provides the data streams necessary for machine learning models to learn “closed-loop” manipulation—where the robot adjusts its grip based on the real-time sensation of an object slipping or being crushed.
