Multiple cameras for oblique view
Unlike regular drone cameras that capture straight down, the ATL 102S V3 uses five cameras in a fixed position. One camera points straight down (nadir), while the other four capture images at oblique angles – forward, backward, left, and right. This allows for capturing more detail on objects that might be obscured from a vertical view, such as those under foliage or behind tall buildings.
Designed for H850 drone
The ATL 102S V3 is specifically designed for use with the Yuneec H850 drone. This pairing is marketed as a complete surveying solution for capturing high-precision data for 3D models.
High-resolution images
While specific details about the sensor aren’t publicly available, the camera is designed to capture high-resolution images suitable for creating detailed 3D models.
Removable storage
The camera features a removable data storage module with a capacity of 1280 GB. This allows for storing a significant amount of image data captured during drone flights.
Applications
Here are some common applications of the ATL 102S V3:
- Creating high-resolution 3D models of terrain, buildings, and other structures
- Surveying for construction projects, land development, and other purposes
- Mapping for infrastructure inspection, environmental monitoring, and other applications
Overall, the ATL 102S V3 is a specialized camera system designed for professional use in surveying and GIS applications. Its oblique camera design and high-resolution imaging capabilities make it a valuable tool for capturing detailed data for 3D modeling and mapping projects.
